It’s Time to Treat Dad this Father’s Day
No one loves you like your dad. So it’s time to show him how much you love him – by treating him to a fantastic day out in one of the UK’s most beautiful destinations– starting or ending with a delicious meal at The Bell Inn.
A Great Location for Celebrating Father’s Day in Hampshire
Privately owned by the Crosthwaite-Eyre family for over 230 years, we’re one of the oldest family-owned inns in Hampshire and are proud to be a much-loved landmark in the tiny New Forest village of Brook and to have just been awarded a TripAdvisor 2016 Certificate of Excellence – where better to enjoy Father’s Day in Hampshire?
To celebrate this special day, we’ve put together the ideal forest itinerary… the perfect way to say “thank you” for all those rides in ‘Dad’s taxi’, the games of football he’s played with you, the shelves he’s put up for you and the fun you’ve had together.
The Big Breakfast
There’s nothing dads love more than the Full English. So book him in for an overnighter at The Bell Inn and let him enjoy breakfast in bed… bacon, sausage, fried eggs, mushroom, grilled tomatoes and fried bread. Or bring him out early and make breakfast the surprise.
£14.95 per person.
The Big Eat
Whether you walk up an appetite or just want to enjoy a pint in our garden, The Bell Inn has got it sorted. With locally sourced ingredients and food sourced directly from our own estate, there’s no better way to say “thank you” on June 19 than with our special three-course menu (with four choices in each course) and a free pint for all dads for just £24.95, with a kids’ menu at £12.50
Walk off your lunch or make the most of the country air, put on your boots and head out for a sightseeing walk around the forest. Whatever the weather we can guarantee stunning views, friendly locals and the opportunity to get up close and personal with some of the grazing animals that roam the local land.
A round of golf
Pack his clubs for a great game of golf on The Bell Inn’s very own 18-hole golf courses!
For manicured greens and excellent fairways, The Manor Course is a traditional golfing experience. For a tougher test of their skills, golfers should play the Forest Course, the oldest golf course in Hampshire and offering the challenge of playing against nature; through trees and across heathland – as well as sharing the green with the ponies, deer and livestock that freely wander the forest.
From only £30.00 per round.
Up close and personal with the world’s greatest cars
The ultimate gift for petrol head Dads – or anyone who adores beautiful cars. Treat dad to The Bell Inn’s Beaulieu Motor Museum Break, probably one of the best experiences for Father’s Day in Hampshire!
With over 250 vehicles the National Motor Museum tells the story of motoring on our roads and racetracks. Re-live memorable challenges in World of Top Gear – and see exclusive behind-the scenes footage featuring the stars of the show. Experience the Victorian splendour of Palace House as costumed guides give you a flavour of life `below stairs`.
Stroll through the grounds & gardens and explore the tranquil ruins of Beaulieu Abbey, which houses an exhibition on the monks that once lived and worked here and ride the monorail for sweeping views of the park.
From just £169.00* per room per night – including dinner, bed, breakfast and two complimentary tickets to Beaulieu Motor Museum.
