Walking & Cycling Routes

We know how much benefit can be gained from embracing the great outdoors. So forget the same old New Forest walking routes

Here are our favourite walking and cycling routes in New Forest. Let us know if you try any of them out by tagging us in your snaps on social media. Our New Forest walking map is by no means exhaustive, the nature here is extensive, but be sure to download our Walking & Cycling PDF – you can keep a copy of its directions and our handy map with you during your next New Forest adventure.

Bolderwood Arboretum

This walk deserves a picnic and more than a few hours to spend exploring. There are more trails that we can count and many opportunities to spot herds of deer. Make a day of it and take some games and your bike! Read more about this walk…

The New Forest official site has many more cycling routes for you to try, budding cyclists will also want to download the Forestry Cycle Code & Routes here. It’s good practice to carry directions –  no keen cyclist wants to be without a New Forest cycle map, after all!

Even if you don’t stay with us, you are more than welcome to join us in the bar for a drink or something to eat while you catch your breath. Further walks can be found here and here. We’d love to hear your suggestions, too.
