Blogger Round Up – Part 2

Our welcoming accommodation in the New Forest has been lucky enough to host quite a few brilliant bloggers so far this year. So many in fact, that we had to split our last post into two! You can read more of what they had to say about their stay right here…

Country Wives

One of the Country Wives, Grace, visited us back in February with her husband. Her website is fantastic for all things fashion, cooking and well-being – it truly deserves the honour of being an award-winning online magazine for women. So great is their readership, in fact, that they were the first bloggers invited to appear at Henley Literary Festival! “If you want an attractive hotel with excellent food and happy, well trained staff then this could also be the place for you.” And her thoughts on The Bell’s food? “Put simply, it’s very good food served in a relaxed, informal atmosphere. What’s not to like?” You can read the review for yourself here.

Alfie Bear

The blog for the dapper dog, Alfie Bear is known by his social following for his travels across the UK promoting dog friendly stays (and for his adorable looks of course!) His owner, Emma, is a photographer based in Warwickshire. Passionate about dog friendly travel, she finds the best places to take her special pooch so they can create some wonderful memories together. We’re one of the most welcoming hotels in Hampshire for pets, so it made sense for them to pay us a visit! They joined us at The Bell Inn 5 months ago as a party of four; “We had a wonderful stay…The Bell Inn was very accommodating, they had the room ready early for us.” To find out more about their special non-furry, porcupine guest and to read the review, click here.

The Boutique Adventurer

Amanda is a travel blogger after our own hearts; her adventurous philosophy revolves around learning more about where she stays, getting a true feel for all the different areas she visits and exploring multiple ways of enjoying travel. She loves to embrace all things local to where she is staying – from the food to her experiences. When she joined us at The Bell in May, she understood our atmosphere immediately. “As you would expect from a family run Inn, the Bell Inn is a very friendly and relaxed place. All of the staff are smiling and helpful. There is a nice relaxed air to the Inn. It does feel more like being in someone’s home – but not too much!” Take a peek at her full review here.

Travel with Kat

Kat’s passion for travel is infectious, and her followers love to visit the places and secret spots that she shares. The recipient of a British Guild of Travel Writers Award in 2017, her Excellence in Blogging is recognised and we think she is fab at what she does! “Selecting from the menu was a tough decision…the scallops-with-a-twist particularly stood out for me. They were succulent and moist and, rather unusually, served with a tasty curried cauliflower puree, mini shallot bhajis, toasted coconut and coriander oil – a cracking combination that I would love to try again.” You can read her review over on her website.
