If you’re a car enthusiast, Beaulieu Motor Museum is the place for you. It’s always running events, featuring visits from extreme Japanese sports cars and even Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. The Sammy Miller Museum is a must-see for motorbike enthusiasts, playing host to a huge range of exotic and classic bikes – and there is even a café and a petting zoo, making it a great family day out.

There’s a plethora of local historical sites and buildings to visit in the New Forest, like Hurst Castle, Beaulieu Abbey and Exbury Gardens. Bucklers Hard should definitely be on your list if you’re a history fan. It’s a beautifully preserved 18th-century shipbuilding village, where Nelson’s navy ships were built.

If adventure and outdoor activities are your passions, there’s so much to try nearby. Why not have a go art river kayaking, medieval sports, high ropes or sailing? If you’re looking for a calmer pace, there are hundreds of walking and hiking trails, plus many cycling-friendly routes.

Family fun never stops in the local area. Visit Peppa Pig and all her friends at Peppa Pig World in Paultons Park, or see the otters play at New Forest Wildlife Park. In the mood to splash? Head out for a wet and wild day at New Forest Waterpark!
