A 26 bedroom, quintessentially English coaching inn with oodles of character, nestling in the heart of the New Forest

Eat & Drink

Leave your muddy wellies to warm by the fire, sink into a sofa and let us spoil you with bite-sized bar snacks and a glass of your favourite tipple. Or why not grab a table and a group of your favourite people and savour flavours full of the forest’s freshest ingredients? And when the sun’s out, while away the hours in our English country garden and listen to the clip-clop of New Forest ponies as they amble past.

Stay With Us

Whether you are looking for a cosy hideaway for a romantic weekend away, a place to rest your weary head after a round of golf on one of our very own courses, or a luxury suite to fit all the family, we have the perfect room for your stay. Our 26 individually-styled, dog friendly rooms have been freshly updated to seamlessly combine the inn’s rich history with modern elegance and we are sure you will just love the quirky corners, oak panels and wood-beamed ceilings which await you.

Golf On Your Doorstep

Set amidst the beautiful New Forest in a landscaped parkland of mature trees and 200 year old hardwood plantations, the Manor Course is widely acknowledged to be amongst the finest and testing courses in the South of England. Built around 1865, the Forest Course is the oldest course in Hampshire and features an ever-changing scenery of humps and meandering streams, with the prospect of seeing deer emerging from the trees or a mare chivvying her foal across the fairway.

SAVOUR THE FLAVOURS OF THE FOREST

Deliciously elegant traditional flavours using locally-sourced, seasonal produce, served with a fresh twist all of our own and the famous Bell Inn charm.

Guest Feedback

“Just a great place to stay. Staff amazing. Rooms clean and a lovely shower. My room had a bath and a lovely low ceiling. Could maybe do with a small chair in the room/bathroom. The Reception staff were very friendly and were helpful with the local area. The lady that checked us in and out was very nice. I think that she was quite new to the job. My partner and I will be returning.”
