With small bites for those times when you’re just a bit peckish, to plates laden high to satisfy even the most hungry members of your party, and perfectly balanced sweet treats for that secret extra space we all save for pudding, the only difficult part is choosing just one dish to devour!

Small Tummies, Big Appetites
With so many places to explore right from our doorstep, we know only too well the need for top quality, tasty food for your little adventurers. Whether the children have been jumping in muddy puddles, racing through the forest, or taking in the sights and attractions of the local area, you’ll have smiling faces and a moment of restful silence whilst they satisfy their ravenous tummies.
And the grown ups might even get the time to enjoy a glass of something chilled from the bar!
Afternoon Tea
With our flagstone floors, inglenook fireplace and oak-panelled walls, our oh-so English tradition of taking afternoon tea is a truly authentic experience. And who doesn’t love a selection of bite-sized moments of culinary perfection?! The only question is … jam or cream first? We couldn’t possibly comment on something so controversial! Please book 48 hours in advance. A £10 deposit per person is required on booking.
Eat Your Crusts
Maybe you’re just popping in for a light bite, maybe you’re still full from breakfast, maybe your round of golf has awakened your appetite – whatever the reason, our sandwich menu will cater for your every need. Especially when you add a cheeky side order of chips!
TO THE BAR
Bottoms Up
Originally a coaching inn, our bar has been the heart of The Bell Inn since 1782. A welcome place of rest for weary travellers, both two legged and four, for over 200 hundred years, you will immediately feel at home amongst the laughter, warm fire and comfy sofas.
Make sure you try one of our carefully selected local draught ales, or perhaps you’d prefer one of the area’s stunning craft gins or a glass of wine from our neighbour’s vineyard. Whatever your favourite tipple, pull up a stool and soak up the atmosphere in one of the New Forest’s oldest watering holes.
Current Bar Promotions:
2 for 1 Cocktails between 4-6 pm
Bucket of Beers (Corona and Peroni) £15
