Bonfire Night can be a stressful time for dogs — but there's a little-known fact about The Bell Inn that makes it rather special on 5th November: we sit on what's known as 'open land' in the New Forest, which means fireworks are legally banned in our immediate area. That makes us one of the only genuinely quiet spots for miles around when the rest of the county lights up.
So this year, we're making the most of it. We're dedicating the entire evening to your four-legged friends and their humans — a proper dog-friendly overnight escape where frightened pooches can relax, explore and be thoroughly spoiled.
